Software Engineer

Initial Performance Review Rating of 4.68/5 ✓

My recent scholarship/internship with Thales Australia. As a part of the Avionics team I helped develop simulators and various software solutions for the Australian Defence Force. I was lucky to work alongside and meet some brilliant engineers who taught me many useful skills - both specific to software development and the engineers mindset. I actively used the opportunity to also develop my Engineers Australia Stage 2 Competencies towards becoming a chartered engineer.

Electrical Engineer/Researcher

Achieved During the Height of the Pandemic ✓

I helped in the research of a low-cost resistivity sensor to replace ground-penetrating radar for rebar detection in concrete pipes. I learned the importance of quality communication from the weekly meetings, and the benefits of recording what work I had done for later scrutiny. I also further developed my ability to work autonomously as this was during the height of the pandemic.
